Hide the adresses in distribution list but show the name of the gr

Hello,
I use Office 2007, I would like to know if it is possible to hide the
individual adresses from a distribution list and show the name of the group.
I do not want to use de BCC field.

Odd request. Why would you not want to use the BCC field? How else would you
expect to hide addresses?

Hiding addresses requires using the Bcc field.

Sorry, I realize my question was not clear.

I would like to have the name of the group instead of the names of the
membres to show in the "To" Field. So the persons who will be receiving my
message will be seeing the name of the group instead of the whole list

Then you place the group in the BCC field. If you want the group name to
appear in the To: field then create a Contact with that name and put it in
the To: field.

recipients clicks REPLY TO ALL - everyone in the bcc line of the original
email will get the reply.

Also many users would prefer that there is a group name displayed instead of
all the individual names in the group. Another reason is that list the list
of names in the group is very large - it takes up a huge amount of space at
the top of each recipients' incoming email.

Odd request. Why would you not want to use the BCC field? How else would you
expect to hide addresses?

Completely false. Bcc addresses are not available to any of the receipients.
That's why it's "blind". Perhaps you should check things before posting to
make sure you're posting accurate information.

So create a contact whose address is your own and whose name matches the name
of the Distribution List (Outlook doesn't have anything called "groups" in
Contacts folders) and use that in the To field.
