Hibernating kills Internet connection on guest computer.

I have Windows XP as a Host and WinME as a quest.
Both work on ICS well until the XP has a nap, (Hibernating).
When XP wakes up it seems that the quest will no longer have ICS working and
the XP has to be rebooted, then all is working again.

The LAN is working after hibernating of XP, I can see and read both
computers from both.

Strange, I can live with it, but I must have stuffed up something and that
nags me.
Regards,
Reima

Try disabling and enabling the host's LAN connection instead of
rebooting.

Usually a powersaving setting :
In DeviceManager, check if your NICs are set to "Allow this device to be
turned off.." or something such..
If they are, uncheck....

Start->Run devmgmt.msc

Thank you Steve and Thomas, One of my NIC's has this setting but it is not
checked.
Will try to disable and enable the host's LAN connection instead of
rebooting next time it hapens.

Reima
