ICS-icon disappears from Taskbar.
Could somebody shed some light on this?
I have 2-XP SP2 machines networked this way.
Router-modem to Host computer, then from second NIC in host computer to a
Hub, then from Hub to Quest computer.
My question is two fold.
1. After booting up host computer I have one ICS-icon and local area
connections icon plus another (local area connections 2) icon.
But the ICS-icon disappears after say10-15 sec. everything still works OK
though on both computers.
Why does it disappear?
2. Then after few hours I have to reboot host computer for quest computer to
get access to Internet. This can happen before host computer hibernates.
There are no error messages either.
Why does the quest computer loose Internet connection?
TIA, Reima
