Help with Component Services

For some reason my COM+ doesn't work.

I have Service Pack 2 installed. When I go to Administrative Tools,
Component Services, and click through to COM+ Applications I get the error.

Catalog Error
An error occured while processing the last operation.
Error code 80080005 - Server execution failed

Whatever the reason behind this error, I think it's causing the problem of
while I can't install COM+ export packages.
I've searched everywhere, anyone have an idea.

Also, in the event log i get an error

Event ID 7034
The COM+ System Application service terminated unexpectedly. It has done
this 5 time(s).

Did you ever resolve this problem, i seem to be suffering the same on
fairly new clean install of xp pro sp2. Any help much appreceiated.
