Help Saving Passwords

Hello,

I've seen many posts under this subject regarding windows xp not saving
passwords. I'm having a similar problem.

However, my AutoComplete IS turned on and has been since I got this
computer. I've even tried unchecking everything, rebooting, then checking
everything and rebooting again.

STILL it does not remember my passwords. Outlook doesn't remember them.
Outlook Express does not remember them. By this, I mean you open your mail
program (either) and it asks for your password. In OE, the password checkbox
is checked, but marked or grayed out. As long as you keep that program open,
it'll continue checking your e-mail without asking for another password.
However, as soon as you close it and reopen the mail program, it asks for
your password again.

Also, IE 6.0 SP2 has not been saving my forms information. It DOES save
what websites you've been to.... But when you're at a website and most people
are able to press "down-arrow" to bring up things they've entered in that box
before.... I can't do that. There's nothing there like I've never done a
search (Google for example) or entered text in that box before.

It is VERY annoying to have to re-enter passwords whenever you access a
commonly used website or program.

Can anyone PLEASE help me solve this little problem? I am willing to offer
a reward for any person who is able to help me solve this problem.

Since I'm in the video game business (Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Xbox), I'd be
willing to give a free game to whomever solves this issue (no matter how easy
it is to solve). Would make a great Christmas gift...

Thank you, Jake

Rick,

Actually, right after I posted, I found the KBID 264672... which is
basically the same thing.

However, since I'm a man of my word... YOU WON!

Just visit http://www.UsedGames.com/ and pick out a game.

Thanks again, Jake.

Hi Jake,

Glad it helped. No reward is necessary. If you feel it necessary to make
payment, donate a game to a local children's center in my name.
