Help romoving spyware

Hello,
Last Thursday I was trying to install a wink for my msn messenger and the
software that I was trying to install said that I needed to turn off my
firewall so I did because I thought I didn't contain any spyware or viruses
but, it did and it installed a toolbar but I removed it. Later I ran a virus
scan on my computer and I deleted 2 viruses and I removed 2 spyware from
computer but I sill think my pc is infected with spyware because my desktop
wallpaper background is changed to yellow and it says my pc is infected with
spyware and I frequently get this pop-up about downloading Adware Punisher.
When I try to download files from Microsoft.com on any other website I get
this page cannot be displayed "this site my contain spyware" even though its
a Trusted Site. My computer is running really slow and any help I can get to
slove this problem I would gladly appreciate it.

Get HijackThis.exe from

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select Scan and Save Log.
Note where you saved the log then send it to Ron as an attachment. Put
Hijack in the subject so he'll know it's not spªm.
