HELP: RAS does not supply DNS Server Address

S

Steve Gould

I have just enabled RAS on a Windows 2000 server. It is replacing a Windows
NT server for this purpose. Dial in users will use it to connect to our
Exchange server. So far I can't get dialup access to the Exchange server
from Outlook. I ran winipcfg from a client and noticed that the DNS server
is listed as 127.0.0.1 instead of the actual DNS server IP addresses. If I
dial into our WinNT RAS server the DNS server addresses are supplied.

Can someone tell me how to enable the RAS service to supply the DNS server
addresses?

Thanks.

P.S. The new RAS server IS one of the DNS servers.
