Help Please! - Cant access website.

Basically, all the computers on our small network can gain access to a
particular site, however, they are all running win 98.... the 3 computers
that cannot access this site are running win xp

i found a round about way to get past the login screen...
Basically, goto the login screen, login, accept the security pop-up and then
let it load for a little bit. (couple of "working" bars accross on the
bottom.
From there, disable the network connection, - sounds crazy, i know.... but
wah-lah.... a half loaded (meaning, links without pictures) elitenet page
appears..from there, activte the network connection again, and then click on
any of the links showing, -

so how do we fix this? we know it is not the network setup or the hub that
it is on.... its just the 3 computers running winxp that cant access this
site....

It is already added as a trusted site, all the cookies are allowed, and the
hosts files are fine....

i downloaded opera browser and it allowed the web page to open and for me to
gain access... what is it in opera that is allowing the site to go thru, and
how to I make the settings the same for internet explorer.
help help help. please

Which website ? Adding a site as "Trusted" is not a good thing to do
just to get a web site to load. Which Zone setting does IE use for the
"Internet Zone". Opera does not support ActiveX and other types
of added content.

What type of Security software runs on the XP PCs?

it is the geindustrial.com site - then the elitenet link.
the sign on page loads fine, it just floats when you enter your login and
tries to load the next page. the zone setting for ie is medium.. is that what
you were asking for?
as far as sec software, are you referring to virus software? i have mcaffe,
the others have norton.. we all just have win xp professional on our 3
computers they are IBM computers.. the other people in the office all just
have compaqs and are running win 98
