Hi,
A couple of years ago, I tried Window Washer, very briefly, and it caused
problems with sites which required a login.

Try disabling Window Washer and other security, privacy, ad-blocking
programs to see if one of them is causing this.

Many other possibilities at:

and

Some of the procedures in this article will be worth trying:

The sites you mention probably require cookies. Go to Tools | Internet
Options | Privacy and make sure these sites are allowed to install cookies.

Thnx for the replies, but the first reply applies to sp1 and i have sp2,
there are a couple things in it for sp2 but they dont seem to apply, or
atleast dont seem to fit into my situation..

As far as the cookies go, i recieve cookies from the sites just fine, so i
know that works ok.

I only use windows washer once in a while just to clean things up, its not
running all the time and clearing cookies as it goes.

The problem seems to be intermittent, as now sometimes i can log in to the
sites and sometimes i cant.

I am at the point of thinking of reformatting my drive so that will fix the
problem fro sure..but i want to avoid doing it as i hate that seeminly
endless task.
