Help! Can't Load New Programs

When I try to load a new program I get an error "The Win 16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, DOSX.exe must be in your Autoexec.nt and present in your path
any Ideas? thanks in advance

Have you tried to run it in compatibility mode?

Right click on the executable, click on properties, go to the
compatibility tab and choose to run in the compatibility mode for
windows 95 or windows 98/Me.

There's a link on this tab with more information on compatibility.
