need help on autoexec.nt

I got this message when I tried installing something in my comp:
Win16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, DOSX.EXE must be in your
Autoexec.NT and present in your path

I added the autoexec.nt file from a win 2000 cd and when i tried to run the
program it gave me that message

I read online to add this line to the autoexec.nt file but i dont know where
to add it. can someone explain clearly

lh %SystemRoot%\system32\dosx

John When the dlg comes up it will have a couple of button on the 16 system
warning subsystem. Instead of hitting cancel hit ignore and tell me what it
does.
