Help! Cannot open more than one site or freezes

I have recently upgraded internet explorer and it seems that since then I
cannot open more than one website at a time without the original page
freezing. Then I cannot close down the frozen pages apart from CTRL ALT DEL
which then closes all open tabs. Sometimes it freezes with only one page
open too.

It is driving me crazy, I have run anti virus, spyware and defragged, all
have made no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could this be a bandwidth problem? Are you dial-up or broadband?

By "upgraded internet explorer", I assume you mean that you installed
IE7. If this is the case, post your question in the IE7 newsgroup
*after* you spend some time reading through the posts there. The IE7
newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)
