HDD set to drive F rather than drive C

Recently I re-installed Windows XP home edition from scratch and after
having done so, I noticed my only hard disk drive was assigned the drive
letter of "F".

Can anyone advise me on how to change it to "local drive C:" ?

I really need to change this so I can install the rest of my applications.

Please help....

You can not. You can change any drive letter except the one Windows is
installed on.

No, you don't. Almost any application can be installed on any drive
letter. I happen to have Windows, and all my apps, installed on F:
here too.
