Have to use headers to receive mail

In Outlook 2003 (not on an exchange server), clicking on Send / Receive will
send but no longer receive. I have to use option to "Download Headers in this
folder" and then "Mark to download messages" and then "Process all marked
headers." This process works, but it sure is tedious!

This just started happening all of a sudden about a week ago. Any ideas out
there?

what are you send/receive settings? Tools, send/receive, browse to locate
Define Send/Receive settings or use Ctrl+Alt+S. Then click Edit.

Alternately, you could find and rename the *.srs file and see if it works
correctly again. (Outlook will create a new file with the default settings.)
