I cannot receive mails

I cannot receive the mails preesing the send receive button. Nothing happened
(and at the same menu I have "send receive all" and two "Send" option below

Rhe only way I can get the mails is download the headers, mark all for
download and download them.
Why? How could I fix this and get the button "send receive" working again

Hi,

I have a computer running outlook 2003 that is doing roughly the same thing.
This computer has 2 outlook profiles and it doesn't seem to want to behave
the same way all the time. About 50% of the time it works as expected and
50% of the time it doesn't. Doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it.
It even has trouble when you select the profile and it doesn't seem to accept
the selection you've made.

Do u receive any errors message at all.What version of outlook do u
have.What happens when you test account settings.
tools->Email accounts->next->change->test account settings

No errors .When I pressed the send receive button nothing happened.
It looks like any sort of configuration gets messed up and outlook believe
the task was done properly.
Where I can see this task list(or it is internal to oulook 2003)
I asked because I can download the headers, then mark them all for download
and download them and I have the mails from my POP3 accout download to my
computer local folder

Hi,
Search for *.srs files and delete it.Its gonna delete any sort of changes
that you have done for Outlook.

I run a search on the local drives but I cannot find any *.srs file(s)
