Could anyone help me to fix my computer which hangs frequently after using
for a while or a number of windows are opened. It has 512 M ram and uses Win
XP(Pro) SP2. After it hangs, I always find the following message:

Details
Product: Windows Operating System
ID: 26
Source: Application Popup
Version: 5.2
Symbolic Name: STATUS_LOG_HARD_ERROR
Message: Application popup: %1 : %2

Explanation
The program could not load a driver because the program user doesn't have
sufficient privileges to access the driver or because the drive is missing or
corrupt.

User Action
To correct this problem:

Ensure that the program user has sufficient privileges to access the
directory in which the driver is installed.
Reinstall the program to restore the driver to the correct location.
If these solutions do not work, contact Product Support Services.

Dear Will Denny,

Thanks a lot for ur response.
I checked the website recommended but there are too many possible causes
suggested and I don't know which one applies to my case.
Could u advise me which driver my registry failed to load which, in my
opinion, caused the hanging. Is there any software avaible to check or
repair window XP's registry automatically?
Thanks again in advance.

Edmond
