Green, distorted video capture

I

This past August, BillGatesIdolNot posted the problem below. I have
the EXACT same problem since installing the PIXMA 170.

BillGatesIdolNot or anyone ... is there a resolution for this?

BTW - Canon support claimed it was not possible for their installation
to have caused this problem.

Since installing a Canon PIXMA MP170 printer/scanner, when I try to
capture
video through S-VIDEO on my ATI card from an analog camcorder, the
video is
90% distorted in green ... though you can see faint images of movement
within. I have unintstalled the printer, but still have the problem.
HELP!

If you reduce your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article and
realize an improvement, it's an indication that you
need to update your video driver:

Thanks for the advice ... but it didn't help. I am at a total loss.

Sorry...it was worth a try.

I would still suspect an issue with
your video driver but it's just a guess.
