Good advice from PCPitstop?

I have a desktop PC running XP Home SP2. IE 6 SP2 is my main web
browser.

Yesterday, I ran the free, anonymous system check at PCPitstop.com.
The only drawback the test found was that my IE browser cache was set way
too high, about 2,300MB (that was the default set by Windows). PCPitstop
said the cache size should be between 10 and 100MB. Anything below or over
that range would actually slow down browser performance. Does that sound
like good advice?

Absolutely yes - 2,300MB is incredibly, remarkably huge for TIF! Not only
will that slow your web experience, you'll also have numerous problems
accessing web pages.

If you have a reliable broadband connection, 10 - 15MB is a fine size for
TIF. If you have dial-up, a larger cache is needed, depending on how slow
your connection is. Anywhere from 25 - 100MB could be right.

Mine is set at 12MB (cable).
