GIFs won't animate

No GIFs will animate on IE6 (w/XP Pro). This just started
happening recently. What's more, it appears that it's not
simply that IE6 won't animate the GIFs, because when I
save them to my computer, the Windows XP picture viewer
doesn't animate them either but it will animate GIFs I've
got from before this happened.

I tried making sure the "Play animations in web pages"
box is checked in Internet Options, and it was. I also
tried unchecking it (in case the toggle was screwed up),
and that also did nothing.
