Animations/Java problem

I just installed Java JRE 1.4 to I.E.6 to enable me to
play audio files from a website. It worked fine, but
animated gifs no longer "animate". I did a system
restore, (XP Home, SP1) and now i get NO audio and NO
animations. "Play animations in web pages" is enabled.
Anyone help please?

Yep - nothing to do with java or IE6 - it was the new
zone alarm pro settings. I think i'll stick with the
freebie - it's less hassle. Many thanks, Frank.

Thank you. I adjusted my zone alarm pro and my animated
GIFs are back!
