Getting Rid of an Archives Folder

R

RFJ

In my folder list I have an archive folder that I can't get rid of (OL2002
SP3).

If I right or left click on it I get the message "Unable to display the
folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location.
The path specified for the file J:\Outlook Data Files\archive13.pst is not
valid.".

The fact that there is no J drive is correct (it relates to an old mapped
network drive) - but if I do map a new J drive to pick up the original
archive file then I just get another error message.

So is there a registry or other setting I can delete or change to get rid of
it.

perhaps creat a new profile
PS MS doesnt support the use of a pst over a network, can lead to corruption

This was already resolved in the prior thread. No need to post more than
once.
