Get external data missing txt file type

Can anyone help. I am using Access 2002 on W XP. I need
to import data from a delimited text file but that file
type is nor included in the Files Of Type menu in the Get
External Data dialog box. Only Microsoft Databases, XML
files and ODBC Databases are included.

I believe this is a version of the problem described in
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=283881

Look for the file mstext40.dll on your hard drive (it should be in the
System folder) and use regsvr32.exe to reregister it.

Thank you for the help! I searched for the file but can't
find it on my computer. I tried repairing the
installation through Add and Remove programs but it still
doesn't work. Do you have any other suggestions?

You were exactly right. I was searching incorrectly. I
found the file, registered it and it is working fine now.
