FRS Staging Path Problem

T

Thomas Meyer

Hi everybody,

i have a problem with my DFS and FRS configuration of 2
file servers. When I configure the replication of a DFS
share the staging folder is e:\frs-staging. I moved all
staging areas with "adsiedit" to c:\frs-staging (the path
I need) But when I configure another DFS share the
staging path is already e:\frs-staging.
is there a registry key or a value in AD where I can set
the path to the staging area which will be used when I
configure replication of a DFS share for the first time.

regards
Thomas Meyer

PS: Thanks for help in advance!

*** this sounds like what you have done, but the registry is not being
updated. This normally happens, if the original folder is no longer
available.

If the orginal folder is not there, please try the steps in the article
