Freeware DVD player with no ad/spyware?

Nope, it doesn't use Windows Media Player at all.

OK, I'm running XP and used the run > dvdplay command and it fired up
windows media player, but perhaps w2k is different.

But how do you install the K-Lite Codec Pack =? I do not know DOS so would
need step by step instructions please.

Is knowledge of DOS required there? I'm surprised if it is.
