I saw this java program mentioned here and decided to give it a try.
Here's a sneak preview of the review that I plan of adding to this
week's newsletter.

I've had an account with "Zapt2it" for several years now. I also don't
see the advantage of installing the program as well as (gag puke) Java
in order to access what I can already see on the internet.

Thanks for the review and your conclusion. I totally agree.

The guide concerns which countries ? All ? You dont mention this in your
review.

Frank

Thanks Frank, I did fail to mention that. Here's what the readme file
says.

"It works with listings for Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan (Linux only), the Netherlands, Norway,
Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US."

Have fun!

Hi John,

That's very interesting John. Please describe how you use this data
service. I've often tried viewing xml data sources and to tell you
honestly, I'm either not looking at them with the right tools or I'm
too stupid to figure out what's going on in them.

Heh. I frankly don't remember. I just created an account with the site
and set up Firefox to log in automatically. What browser are you using?

At any rate, I sometimes have to go through the log in twice (the site
is problematic in that way), but once I get in, I click on the "See My
Listings" button and then they're displayed. You can't use back and
forward to view pages that you've already seen, but you navigate using
arrows in cells at either end of the top and bottom rows of the table
that's created. Works for me.

For anybody that's interested, the site is http://www.zap2it.com/index.
And if you get an account there, you won't need to use the program that
Clif Notes reviewed and also doesn't recommend.
