We have two XP machines in the office that both use
FP98. One machine is not experiencing any difficulties
while the other is giving an error upon opening: "Unable
to complete transaction - the server requested
authenticiation information (userid/pass) using an
authentication scheme (negotiate) that is unsupported by
FP"
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling client for
Microsoft Networks - (per the MS Knowledge Base) to no
avail. According to the user of the machine, everything
WAS working fine, after not using it for awhile it "all
of a sudden doesn't work." I am not an FP user so any
advice would be greatly appreciated.
