FP98/Win XP Open Error

We have two XP machines in the office that both use
FP98. One machine is not experiencing any difficulties
while the other is giving an error upon opening: "Unable
to complete transaction - the server requested
authenticiation information (userid/pass) using an
authentication scheme (negotiate) that is unsupported by
FP"
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling client for
Microsoft Networks - (per the MS Knowledge Base) to no
avail. According to the user of the machine, everything
WAS working fine, after not using it for awhile it "all
of a sudden doesn't work." I am not an FP user so any
advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the problem machine was upgraded to Win XP uninstall PSS (from FP 98)
Win XP home does not support any web servers
Win XP Pro supports IIS and the FP SE
