FP 2003 Active Button Image Gone After Published

I set some Active Buttons on my navigation bar. The buttons all work fine
during design & preview, but after I publish the site and when I go on the
site and put my mouse over the Active Buttons, the button images disappear
(though the links still work). I have to refresh the screen for the button
images to come back. What can I do to make the button images stay on screen
when my mouse is over them?? Thanks in advance!

1) make sure you have a FP web open when you create the Interactive Button
2) when you save the page make sure you save the embedded files

Yes, my FP Web is open at the time when I created the Interactive buttons.
Are the embedded files the 3 image files it creates when I Save the button
images? If so, yes.

I also have a few other Interactive Buttons set in the body of some pages,
those all work well, just the ones in the Navigation Bar I'm having trouble
with.

Yes I have FP web opened when creating the buttons. As for the embedded
files, are they the 3 image files created by FP when I SAVE the buttons? If
so, yes.

The other active buttons I set in the body of the page work perfectly. I'm
just having trouble with the buttons in the Navigation Bar. The buttons in
the Navigation Bar and inside the page were done the same way.

Interactive buttons are not intended to be used in shared borders or include pages
- Look at using a DWT instead of the nav bars and shared borders
