found new hardware for officejet t45

I recently installed an HP Officeject t45
printer/fax/scanner.
I downloaded & installed the latest XP drivers for this
printer from HP web site.
Each time the pc is started up it say new hardware found
an wants you to proceed with the installation of the
officejet. I cancell the process each time, because the
printer is already installed and working just fine.

How come found new hardware wants this product installed
each time the pc is started up?
