Foriegn language display

Some sites I'm trying to view are in a foreign language,
asian. I suspect japanese or chinese. They are not
displayed however in their native form, just jumbled
english characters & symbols. If I could get them to be
displayed as they were really written I may be able to
translate them. Does anyone know how to get IE6 to
display foreign language correctly?

Hi,
In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under History, click Languages.
Click the Add button to make sure that your second language is displayed
first, and that English is second in the list.

In order to display some Web pages, particularly those in East Asia,
Internet Explorer must install the language pack that supports the
characters on that Web page. When Internet Explorer opens a Web page that
requires a language pack, you'll be prompted to install the pack,. Click
Install and Internet Explorer installs the language pack and then displays
the Web page.

Hope this helps.

WIth Regards,
Asima
