Forcing Access to output data to a fixed excel book

This is a access to excel question

I am attempting to automate a manually created excel worksheet(s) of which
automatically produces bar charts.

Now the problem I have is , I need to use Microsoft access to pull in and
format the data using an ODBC link (the formatting is a bit to complicated
for Excel to cope with)

What I am asking is, if I can mimic the layout of data excel has currently
(in Access) .... is there a way of getting access to export the data to a
specific excel worksheet.

e.g. Export data to [Excel Book].[Excel Worksheet 1].[Cell B2]

This might be a question for the Excel newsgroups too...

I believe you can open Excel and "point" to Access data via MS Query. You
wouldn't need to export from Access this way.
