jumping back and forth from ACCESS to Excel

I am recording time to a table, from a form in ACCESS, and I would like to
calculate inputted data in ACCESS. But due to the type of clacs I am doing I
think I am going to need to export data to excel calculate and then return to
ACCESS to perform reports.

Can I do this?
If I need the prog to do this automatically will I have to use a Macro?
Can I print a report in ACCESS from worksheet results in Excel?

Maybe you could give us an example of the calculation.
