Fonts - signature font lost in list of fonts

In the list for fonts to be used for New Mail, the signature font choice is
now missing. Is there a way to update font choices or download new ones? At
the end of my e-mail message it was nice to use the signature font for my
name - but now it's gone and I miss it. Any and all help is appreciated.

The font is missing from Control Panel > Fonts. I don't have an installation
CD/DVD, as this is an OEM version that came with the computer. I just cannot
figure out why it disappeared (and it's always a font you want that
disappears, right?). So, there is no way to download new fonts from
Windows/Microsoft? I checked the available downloads and the only ones I
could find were for XP/Outlook Express and none of them work on
Vista/Windows Mail.

The compatibility packs are good for Office but they don't apply to Mail.
Thanks for trying to help me.

There is no signature font in Vista? I was using what was called "Signature"
for several months until, after an update, it disappeared. Hmmmmm - Well, if
Signature doesn't exist then I guess I'll no longer be able to "sign my
name" at the end of an e-mail. I tried to install some XP fonts but was
unable to do it - guess I'll have to try again (I did look up the
instructions for adding fonts and perhaps I originally missed a step). I
couldn't find the font in MS Office Power Point Viewer 2007. Again, thanks
for trying.

Since the signature font disappeared from the font list (Control Panel >
Fonts), I'll just use another font to act as a signature (something
different than the message font).
I checked the signature Tab but I have never put a signature in there. There
was no logo or image.

Again, thank you for trying to help. I'll just switch to a different
available font as a signature.
