Signature Dummy

I needed to change my signature for New Messages and Replies & Forwards. I
went to Tools>Options>Mail Format and clicked on Signatures. I selected the
signature that I wanted to change and clicked Edit. I clicked Advanced Edit
to open Word 2003 and made my changes. The font on the word document is
Times New Roman. I clicked to SAVE the changes OK'd the changes all of the
way out. Now when I create a new email or reply, the font changes to
Helvetica. I created a new signature to see if the old one was corrupt but
the new one is doing the same thing. I checked Tools>Options>Mail Format and
clicked on the Fonts button. All of the defaults are set to be Times New
Roman. Always use my fonts is selected at the bottom under stationary fonts.
Can anyone explain to me how I can keep Times New Roman as my selected font
for my signatures? Thank you in advance for your help.

It appears to be something associated with the profile. I renamed the old
profile with a [.old] at the end so that it would create a new profile when I
logged on. It is now letting me create signatures and keep the font.
