Font Is Missing

When I open MSOutlook (2000) I get a message
"THE TAHOMA FONT IS NOT PRESENT. TO RESTORE IT. PLEASE RUN DETECT AND REPAIR
FROM HELP MENUE"
I run detect & repair from help menu in Outlook with office2000 CD in the
computer I get this message.
"This Installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package
exists & that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify
that this is a valid Windows installer Package"
The only other input I can provide, I uninstalled 2 old programs that I was
not using from my PC before I started getting this message. I have done
system restore, this does not help.
Please any advice will be helpfull

Do you have a non-generic printer defined in your Printer options?
