floppy disk, formatting and lost information

L

Lydia

I went to a computer in the library to print something
from my floppy disk. The computers are Dell, same as mine
in my room, but they have Windows XP Professional instead
of Home Edition like I have. there it told me I need to
format my disk because it couldn't not read my disk. I
didn't format it but when I took it back to my computer
it won't recognize it. My computer said that it was not
formatted or that it was formatted for a Macintosh. I
even took it to a Macintosh and it couldn't read it
either. Is there anything I can do to get back the data
on my disk?

Hi Lydia,

Please contact me privately and I will send you a small utility that may be
able to help. Or, you can download resq.zip directly from
ftp://12.107.147.141

It will allow you to make a sector by sector copy of the disk and possibly
recover the lost files. Read the instructions thoroughly before employing
it.
