Flash Security Update KB923789 won't install

I'm using XP Pro with "Automatic update" setup to inform me when there are
updates to install.
The updates are all "up to date" But I continually get a message that "you
have updates" for 1 that is "Security Update for Flash Player (KB923789).

I allow it to update but it says "unable to install Security Update for
Flash Player (KB923789)".
Troubleshooting todate:
I've repeated this process several times and restarted the computer.
I've removed Flash and reinstalled it.
I've updated Flash several times.
Windows will provide this information: Error Code 0x643
IE7 will not run Flash programs when visiting a website with Flash - and
this is the message screen the website provides:
"OOPS! You forgot to upload swfobject.js ! You must upload this file for
your form to work."

When using the Firefox browser, there is no problem.

Do I have a problem with IE7?
Why won't the Security Update install?

Update: Problem solved.
Rather that reinstalling Flash again, I uninstalled it using "Add or Remove
Programs".
Then, downloaded/installed Flash.
Then ran shut down and install updates.
That did the trick.
