Update downloaded an empty file

Joco

Hi,

I have reformatted my C: drive back to the factory default settings. When
downloading the Windows High Priority updates "Security update for Flash
Player (KB923789)" downloaded but the file size is 0

I can remove the update in Add or Remove Programs, but Update then downloads
the file again, and I continually have a "Install Updates" icon in the task
bar.

How do I correct this please

My OS is XP Home SP3, with IE7

Thanks

If you need it, then try a manual download and install:

Personally I would just make sure I was running the latest Flash -

Due to recent enhancements with the Flash Player installers, you are now
only able to uninstall by using the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller

2. Then get Flash here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
