Finding Sony drivers

Hi-I had a question the other day regarding finding the newest, or best,
drivers for my hardware. I was told by several folks to avoid MS, for
drivers, if possible. I've been able to install all required drivers from HP
& manufacturers for hardware that did not come with my PC. Except for my
Sony DVD-RW & CD-RW. Their support, quite frankly, sucks. I can't get any
info for either item & both are less than 2 years old. Any suggestions where
to go, or should I just stick with the MS 2001 drivers I have?
HP Pavilion 530J, Pentium 4, 1 gig RAM, 200 g HD, XP PRO (model #s CRX
320EE & DRU-810A

No special drivers should be necessary for optical drives; WinXP
supports them natively.

You shouldn't need any extra drivers for your optical drives. The
motherboard chipset drivers will have taken care of that. What you do need
for the DVD drive is third-party software to burn DVD's and to watch DVD
videos.
