"Find Message" error

Since yesterday, every time I try to use "Find Message" I get "an unknown
error has occured". There is no error code. I tried restarting and that
didn't work either. Any one run into this?

Did you try rebooting also and gone to the Event Viewer to see if anything is shown
there

I did try rebooting-made no difference. What's the Event Viewer and where do
I find it?
