Files and Settings Transfer

Hi all

I may have a need to use the Files and Settings Transfer option to set up a
new PC (it will be running Vista). I checked the Help and it babbled on
about Serial port (9 pin and 21 pin ports) connections.

Surely in this day and age this function can/should be done with a USB
connector. I'm sitting here looking at the back of a laptop and there is no
ye olde serial ports on it.

Has anybody here been able to use this upgrade function with a USB cable?

If you have the cable (it's not your regular USB cable) you can.
Not to mention - going to Vista - you won't be using F.A.S.T....

Thanks Shenan, That's what I needed to know. I already have a USB male to
male cable.
