file & printer sharing

I have just set up a wireless network using a US Robotics USR9110 on
one PC and a USR5422 USB adaptor on a second machine. Yet to try
adding my laptop as I want to iron out any problems on these two
machines first.
I've left the main PC wired to the ADSL router/access point as they are
co-located.
The good news is that the second PC can see the access point with very
good signals, and accesses the internet just fine.
What I can't do is to persuade either PC to see the other one, though
I've run the network wizard on both and set them up as members of the
same workgroup.
What steps do I need to persuade them to see each other and their
respective printers ?
BTW the main PC runs WINXP PRO, the other has WINXP Home SP2

In order for each computer to see the others printer over the network you
will have to share the printer on the pc that it is connected to and then do
a printer install (network attach) of that printer on the other pc. Try
sharing some files on each of your PC's and then see if you can't see those
shared files, nothing is shared by default.

get an error '<network name.> is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use network resources. List of servers is not
available'. I am logged on as Administrator, but can't see how to give
myself any more permissions than I already have ! Must have done
something wrong with Network Wizard but don't know how / what to check.
