Hi,
I am running into a very weird problem. On my HP (or Compaq?) nc5230
laptop with Windows XP professional installed, in whatever application,
whenever it pops up the File Open/Save dialog, the dialog fails to
respond. If I wait for long enough time, say, 5 minutes, the dialog
will probably respond to mouse click or keyboard again, otherwise if I
try to close the application, it just pops a "End Program" dialog and I
have to click the "End Now" button. For example, if I use Internet
Explorer to browse some website and want to have some pictures saved to
my hard disk, the "Save As" dialog simply fails. Even for the simplest
program "Notepad" the same thing happens!
Anyone can give me a clue for this? I scan the whole hard drive with
McAfee but found no virus.
Thank you very much!
