Fax Printers Being Added Automatically

Good Day All:

This is a new one on me and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered
this.

I am running Vista Home Premium on a Dell XPS 410. Last Friday, I found my
HP All-In-One was no longer installed and I went to re-add it.

In the process, Vista started adding fax printers autmoatically and I am at
a loss on how to make it stop (although right now it seems to be standing on
64 faxprinters). These are labeled as fax, fax fax, fax fax fax...

Has anyone encountered this little feature or does anyone know how to kill
it?

Thanks.

Jim B.

Hmmm

Have you checked HPs website for an updated driver for your All-In-On
Printer? Its possible that to prevent this occurrence from happening, you
need to install the Device Drivers first, then connect the All-In-One to
your computer.
