Favorites closed

IE does not remember my settings, if I open the favorites sidebar and the
close IE, when I open IE again the favorites closed is closed. I have checked
my settings with another user on the same computer & they are the same - when
this other user is logged on under his ID, IE remembers if the favorites is
open or closed when he exits.

Any ideas or suggestions on this problem.

Options/settings in several third-party applications may be disallowing the
change(s) from "sticking" when you close/reopen IE or reboot. These include
Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer, SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Norton
AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and
Pro).

Hi,
The only application I run is NAV, but this is the same for the other user
and his IE remembers his settings. Why should it be different on mine?
