F.A.S.T wrong version - DAT viewer?

I recently did a File And Settings Transfer (FAST) on my laptop. After the
reinstall, I cannot restore the settings. The error I receive is:

"Your migration store was created with a previous version of Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard. Please collect your settings using the current
version of the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. It is available on the
Windows XP CD under Perform Additional Tasks. You can also create a wizard
disk by running the wizard on your Windows XP computer."

The previous version was Windows XP SP2 and so is this (although it's
different install media - the new CD has SP2 included on the install). I am
unable to rerun the wizard as the format has already been completed on the
drive.

Is there anyway around this error or any other way to extract the files out
of the DAT file?

Are you using the 64 bit version of Windows? If you are then you are out of
luck. If not and you installed the optional windows update 896344 then you
can uninstall it or try running the FAST wizard from your Windows CD.
