Every time i open Microsoft Outlook i get a message saying
" an extention file failed to initialize. can't open file EXTEND.DAT the
file may not exist or may be open in another program.............blar blar".

If i click "OK" i seem to be able to use Outlook, but it's anoying not
knowing what this message is, and that Outlook may not be working properly.

Any ideas or solutions????? (I've tried to re-install...still same problem)

Thanks
Glenn.

Extend.dat is a cache of registry settings of your add-ins. It's located in
a hidden folder;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Rename it to .old when Outlook is closed and then start Outlook again.
