Exporting Access table in a Dbase III format

I'm getting a DISK OR NETWORK ERROR when exporting an
Access table in a Dbase III format? I have a feeling it
has to do with the amount of records in the table 1.8
Million. I can export other smaller tables in Dbase III
format with no problems. I have plenty of disk space
available 60Gigs. I'm running on Win2k w/SP4 and Office
2000 w/SP3. What can be the problem?

Thanks,
Mitch

Hi Mitch,

How big would the resulting table be? Can you export part of it and make an
estimate? I haven't worked with Dbase III specifically, but I know that
FoxPro tables are limited to 2GB per file.

Not really sure.
Can you export a subset of this same data?

If so, write queries to split the data nad export the subsets.

If you are still stuck then there may be problems with paths and field
names.
You must use DOS conventions! 8.3 file name and short paths.
Also field names must be pure alphanumeric (no odd characters) plus the y
have to be 10 characters or less.
