Format for Exporting Access data

I'm looking for the best format in which to export Access table data that
will be emailed and imported into another Access database. (Using Access
2003) From what I've seen, perhaps Excel is the best choice but sometimes it
seems the data formatting is lost in the process. I need a format that will
always keep the data as close to the original as possible. Any suggestions?

I would suggest exporting and importing as text in a .csv file.
On both computers, set up an import spec with the field names, types, and
sizes. Use the import spec in the TransferText method for the export and
import.
