Export Contacts from Excel and Map to User Defined Fields??

Frank Roberts

Hello,
I have a contact list that I am trying to import into
Outlook. I understand how to generically import the
contacts into Outlook BUT I am trying to understand how to
get my User Defined Fields for the folder I am importing
to to show up when I go to Map Custom Fields?? I have
created several User Defined fields for a Specific
Contacts folder but when I go to import the Excel file
these User Defined fields don't show up as something I can
map the Excel fields to the Outlook fields when I do the
Custom Mapping?? Is there a way to do this??

Thanks,
Frank

No. You cannot import to custom forms or user-defined fields using Outlook's
standard import wizard. You'll need to write your own code or use a 3rd
party program to accomplish that (such as ours - see link in sig line).
