Excel 2003 suddenly says Preparing to Install, CD required

Help, I've been using Office 2003 since 2003 and suddenly it is asking for a
CD to install. The machine was purchased by my company with Office 2003 pre
installed from Dell but the disk is missing. Excel has worked this whole time
without problems. I even have all the current service packs installed. But,
when clicking on the short cuts in excel or any spreadsheet it starts with
"preparing to install" again. When i click browse it says it is looking for
PRO11N.MSI. The IT dept. cannot find the original CD's is there a registry or
something else I can repair?

I had this issue when upgrading to SP2 but it only cleared when I used the
disk to let it run it's upgrade. You could get one from Dell I am sure with
your serial or licence number at a small cost. Unfortunately, detect and
repair will also ask for the CD
